Gunther: Rachel?
Rachel: Yeah?
Gunther: I don't know if you heard what happened between me and Phoebe?
Rachel: No.
Gunther: We kissed. I didn't initiate it, but I also didn't stop it. I've been feeling guilty.
Rachel: Okay.
Gunther: So are we cool?
Rachel: Okay.
Gunther: I knew you would understand.

Gunther: Rachel has those in burgundy.

Ross: It's just, what you have to realize is, this whole Mark thing is really hard for me.
Rachel: Honey, why is it hard? We've been together for almost a year now.
Ross: Well, I was with Carol for like eight years, and I lost her. And now, if it's possible, I think I love you even more. So it's hard for me to believe that I'm not going to well, that someone else isn't going to take you away.
Gunther: Let it be me. Let it be me.

Gunther: Ross. Ross, you can't put up flyers in here.
Ross: How come? Everybody else does.
Gunther: You can't.

Joey: Someone left their keys. Ooh, to a Porsche. Hey, Gunther, are these yours?
Gunther: Yeah. That's what I drive. I make 4 bucks an hour. I have saved up for 350 years.
Joey: Nuh-uh.

Gunther: Well, if you want, you can work here.
Joey: I don't know. It's just... See, I was a regular on a soap opera, you know? And to go from that to this, it's just... And plus, I'd have to wait on all my friends.
Gunther: Okay. But the money's good. Plus, you get to stare at Rachel as much as you want.
Joey: What?
Gunther: Flexible hours.

Ross: Oh, hey, Gunther, check this out.
Gunther: [laughing] Oh, yeah, that Chandler cracks me up.

Gunther: [inner monologue] "Say, Rachel l was wondering if you'd go to a movie with me sometime ... as my lover. Too out there. Maybe you'd like to get something to eat with me sometime ... as my lover."

Joey: Hey, Gunther, have you seen Chandler?
Gunther: I thought you were Chandler. But, um, one of you is over there.

Charlie: Excuse me. I'm looking for someone. You don't, by any chance, know a Ross Geller?
Gunther: No.
