Ashley: I go to school here now. I transferred. The white dolphin told me in a dream that if I was patient, we would find each other again. Plus, they have a good hotel-management program.
Devin: [opens door] Sorry. I had my earbuds in. Hey. You met Ashley.
Ashley: Mm-hmm. Axl was my boyfriend in high school.
Devin: Oh. Really?
Axl: Well... I'm with Devin now. So, good to see you. [laughs nervously] Please don't hurt us.

Ashley: I've been watching what's been going on. I know I'm next. Ask me whatever you want. And I brought you a drink.
Axl: Yeah, I'm not drinking that.
Ashley: I wouldn't.
Axl: Actually, no, you know what? Now that you're here, I-I do have a question. Um, why do you like me? It doesn't seem like I'd be your type.
Ashley: I'll always be here, in this lifetime and the next, for eternity.
Axl: But I don't get it. Why are you wasting your time on me when there's probably some other guy, or merman, who'd be perfect for you? I mean, I've been telling you for a long time nothing's ever gonna happen between us.
Ashley: No, you haven't. You never told me you didn't like me.
Axl: I didn't?
Ashley: No. You took me to prom twice.
Axl: Um...
Ashley: If you didn't want to be with me, why didn't you just say so? You're not very clear with your signals, Axl. Maybe you should just sit here and think about all the pain you've caused me. And I hope it's reflected in my tip.

Ashley: Hello, Axl.
Axl: Weir... Ashley. [chuckles] What are you doing here? How'd you know I was leaving?
Ashley: I just knew.
Axl: Oh. Okay, well, thanks for coming over to say goodbye.
Ashley: Oh, it's not goodbye. [sprinkles dust in Axl's face] See you soon.
Axl: Oh.

Ashley: I had a really good time.
Axl: Uh-huh.
Ashley: We should do that again.
Axl: Yeah, yeah, we should.
Ashley: Great. Mom! Axl just asked me to prom with him!
Axl: Wait, what? That's not what I was-
Sue: Uh, the coat's not there, and I looked in the black box. Let's go.
Axl: Uh...
Ashley: My mom will call your mom to find out what color cape I should wear.

Ashley: Sorry, Axl. I can't go to prom with you anymore.
Axl: Are you serious?
Ashley: Fred Fredman asked me. His D&D character's a ninth-level magic user, so...
Axl: Okay. No worries. You two have a good time.
Axl: Thank you, Fred Fredman. I'm free!

Ashley: Hey, Sue. Are you here alone?
Sue: Yeah.
Ashley: Me, too.
