Dr. Cox: Really? Eleven minutes to answer a page. It's embarrassing.
Lucy: It's 4:00 in the morning.
Dr. Cox: Hey, bedhead, what are those, horses on your pajamas?
Lucy: Well, I didn't do my laundry. I have nothing else to wear.
Lucy: [v.o.] Except more horse pajamas.

Trang: Lucy, have a seat. We're about to start. [Lucy gets close to Trang] What are you doing?
Lucy: Staring into your soul. Dominating your mind. I'm freaking your being. See? I own that. That's my vacation home. I come up on the weekends when I feel like bringing the hurt!

Lucy: [v.o.] So Drew had abandoned us, and that was fine, because I was finding my feet as a leader. I was inspiring the group like my hero, the lesbian president from 24.

Cole: Hey, yo, Drew, I am glad you are back, man. But I was thinking before we start, we take a little break.
Drew: Garfunkel, handle that.
Lucy: Yeah, you know what would be great, Cole, is if you could go get us all some coffee. Hey, maybe you could take your wheelie shoes.
Cole: Oh, man. I'd love to, but some big guys took 'em.
Lucy: Oh. Well, then why don't you just root around for mints in my purse?

Lucy: [v.o.] Four months into med school and we were getting on each other's nerves. Cole was especially good at it.
Lucy: Cole, you're wearing my scrubs. I had to wear the ones my mom made me.
Cole: Babe, you know girl scrubs make my ass pop.
Lucy: That is so stupid.
Lucy: [v.o.] Damn! Ma wants a bite!

Lucy: [v.o.] Getting paired up in med school was like playing a game of Win, Lose or Frank.
Frank: Spoiler alert, my skin's super flaky.
Lucy: [v.o.] Man, I just got totally Frank'd.

Lucy: I could at least make sure our study group is there.
Cole: Those fools?
Lucy: They're your friends. They wanna be there for you.
Cole: All right, I guess it's cool if they come.
Lucy: Oh, sweet! Cancer party! Like, tons of my uncles died of cancer so I know exactly how to do this. Oh, but theirs was sad. This one's gonna be fun.

Cole: Hey, where did you go?
Lucy: I went to the campus store And got some things to cheer you up. Like a Winston University mini fan because this surgery is gonna be a breeze. A license plate frame because you are gonna drive away that cancer. And a stuffed Ollie the Owlcat because you are gonna hoot, hoot, hoot. Actually, I just really think he's cute. Can I have him?
Cole: Whatever. Keep it.

Lucy: Guys, just do me a favor, okay? Come up with one thing that's important to you about Ben. That's it. It could be a poem or a lightly choreographed dance number. Don't be afraid to go modern. I think Ben would appreciate it. Fine. Or you could just bring some pretzels or something.

Lucy: They think they're so badass just 'cause Ron had a vestigial tail and spinal meningitis. Ben could have had that tail. He's just not a show-off like Ron.
