Robert: Amy. Um, maybe it's just me, but all you did was ask him to dinner, and now he's living on our couch.
Amy: Oh, Robert, he's been nothing but nice and helpful since he got here.
Robert: I'm sorry. Honey... I can't live like this. [Amy cries] Okay. What are you doing? Come on. Amy, stop crying. Please don't cry. You know I can't stand it when- Look! Fruit!
Amy: No, you're right. It's my fault. I know you never liked Peter. I never should've let him stay. But I thought maybe you'd get to know him, 'cause he's really very sweet.
Robert: No no, I know, but you have to admit, he's a little...
Amy: No, I know. We all know!
Robert: Then why do we need him here?
Amy: Because he's my brother. You know, Robert, I make an effort with your family. I try because they're a little... too!

Ray: Formal attire party for kids? Peggy's a whack-job.
Debra: Yeah, I agree it's silly, but I understand her wanting to do something special for Molly's party.

Amy: Yeah, 13's a very big age. You're halfway between girl and woman. Your body's going through all sorts of changes...

Frank: I'm eating!

Robert: So, Debra, I didn't get to hear your opinion yesterday. Do you think I should retire?
Amy: Robert! He's been asking everyone what he should do. He talked to Andy and Gianni, his partner Judy, the guy she was handcuffing.
Robert: I'm sorry, but it's an important decision, and everyone has a different opinion.
Amy: You're only asking everyone 'cause you don't want anyone to be mad at you!
Ray: Yeah, how's that goin'?

Amy: You all right?
Robert: Yeah. What do you mean?
Amy: Nothing. Is something wrong?
Robert: What?
Amy: Well, you were touching food to your chin.
Robert: Excuse me?
Amy: You're doing it again. Look, I'm sorry, but I thought you did that because of stress. Are you stressed? It's okay if you're stressed. I just wanna know if you're stressed. Are you stressed?
Robert: Maybe a little bit now.

Amy: No, now, here's the sweetest thing: Every night since our wedding, Robert gives me a little massage.
Debra: Oh, wow! You are so lucky.
Amy: Yeah. Although he kind of doesn't know his own strength and sometimes when he squeezes, I feel like I'm being juiced. But it's very thoughtful.
Linda: Can't you just tell him to lighten up a little?
Amy: I don't have the heart. Plus, I usually black out before I can say anything.

Robert: How great is it that my parents are moving into a furnished place?
Amy: You know what else is great? A yard sale.

Amy: You know, I never thought I'd say it, but we really do love living over there.
Debra: [mouths to Ray] She's crazy.

Amy: I don't know. Maybe we should think about it.
Robert: What do you mean? We have a plan. Our ducks aren't in a row yet. I mean, we're still trying to, you know, get up enough money together. We don't have our own house. Our ducks are all over the pond.
Amy: Well, maybe all our ducks don't have to be in a row. I mean, I don't know. We're married, that's a big duck. It's not like we're never gonna want kids.
Robert: What are you saying?
[Amy gets up and closes the shutters]
Robert: You mean right now?
Amy: [imitates Barry White] Oh, take off that brassiere, my dear. [kisses Robert]
Robert: To hell with the ducks.

Amy: Well, why didn't he just tell Marie that?
Robert: Because he's very sensitive about his foot.
Debra: Oh. So by foot, you mean... not his foot.
Ray: Go to the mall.
Amy: Well, then what are the pills for? [Debra looks at Amy] Oh. That foot.

Amy: Debra, you're really upset about this.
Ray keeps turning me down.
Amy: What do you mean? Sex?
Debra: Yeah.
Amy: That doesn't sound like him. He usually follows you around with his tongue hanging out.
Debra: I know.
