Oscar: Wait a minute. It's a fake hand. How can it hurt?
Buster: No, it's a rental from prison, and Mother said my next hand...

Buster: It sort of reminds me of Mother's hand, except it's less veiny, and warmer.

Buster: My right, my left. I remember there's a hardware store - my left, your right - or a Build-A-Bear I used to go to, but that was, like... Let me think, Justin Be-Bear is seven... that was, like, seven years ago.
Oscar: Your left, my right.

Buster: These are stage manacles. We were in a play.
Man: Well, if they're from a play, they're probably not even locked.
Oscar: What?
Man: Have you guys even tried, uh, just unclamping?
Oscar: Are you kidding me? [both laugh]
Buster: We didn't even check.
Narrator: Ironically, finding out they weren't shackled was a bonding moment for the men.
Buster: That would've saved time when we were trying to get the pants over our heads.

Oscar: What's good about this is they're looking for two guys who are manacled together on the run.
Buster: Ah.
Oscar: The Inside-Outside Bandits.
Buster: So are we saying that it's safer to go our separate ways? Is that what you're saying?
Oscar: I guess so. But, I mean, where will you go?
Buster: Well, realistically I could sniff out Mother somehow, but she wouldn't want me. Maybe I'm better in prison. I'm no good on my own.

Oscar: Look, I'm not I'm not in a hurry to, you know, go it alone. I mean, if you want to hang out, I mean...
Buster: You mean it?
Oscar: Sure.
Buster: Where would we go?
Oscar: Oh, I mean, we like the same things. We could go anywhere we want. I mean, the most important thing is that we're...
Buster: Inside.
Oscar: Outside.
Buster: Outside.
Oscar: Inside.
Buster: Hmm.

Oscar: You're not a fugitive wanted for killing Lucille 2. And you're not on the run. I was just telling you that because, honestly, I've just enjoyed being with you so much, and, um... I'm sorry.
Buster: I have a confession of my own to make.
Oscar: Huh?
Buster: I also knew we were not being looked for. I went along with it because I- I- I wanted to spend some more time with you.
Oscar: All right. All right, well, then go on inside and sign out, and, uh, let's continue the adventure.
Buster: Okay. Okay, okay. But while I'm gone...
Oscar: Yeah?
Buster: Pick what you want to do when we get back. Here's your choices: lay down inside, get scared of the dark inside, or play hide-and-go-seek inside. Well, this shouldn't take too long for me to sign out. I hope you don't mind waiting for me.
Oscar: Hey, I ain't going nowhere.
Buster: Okay. Oh, and one more thing. I don't like the smell of marijuana or your behavior when I've caught you with it, so it's me or the weed.

[flashback:]
Young Michael: Didn't Buster used to get past the window?
Young Gob: Mom tightened it when he tried to put that starfish in his mouth. Yeah, but he's had a good summer. He's made friends.
Young Buster: Actually, Mother made the friend for me. So I named it after her: Lucille Ball.

Lottie Dottie: So, Buster Bluth has killed before in the exact same manner he killed Lucille Austero!
Lottie Dottie: Prosecution rests.
Judge Stanley: We will reconvene tomorrow.
Lucille: Mistrial! Mistrial!
Buster: Yes, yes! I missed your trial! So you sell me out to Warden Gentles? And we both know you said I wouldn't get in trouble. You made a promise!
Lucille: No, Buster, it was a mistake!
Buster: You can live with her, Dusty. She can be your mother.

Michael: So, you thought Mimi was talking about you. That- That you were her child, and that she was gonna take you away.
Buster: Well, had I known that she was talking about Lindsay, I would have been, like, "Goodbye, Felicia." I mean, I didn't even really get close to her until we made soup that one time.
Michael: Is it true? Did you push Mimi down the stairs?
Buster: I did, but nothing's gonna happen to me 'cause I'm just a boy.
