Dr. Cox: We heard that you're having a baby, we just wanted to come by and say congratulations.
J.D.: Really?
Dr. Cox: No, I'm looking for the pediatrician.
J.D.: He's not here. Sorry, baby J.D.
Dr. Cox: Her name's Jennifer Dylan, not J.D.
J.D.: [v.o.] I'm calling her J.D. forever and he can't stop me.
Dr. Cox: All the best there, Kim. Please know that the entire world is praying that the dominant genes are yours.

J.D.: [v.o.] Thank God, there's no way Kim remembers what we were talking about. Hell, I don't even remember what we were talking about.
J.D.: What are we talking about?
Kim: I was asking how you're feeling about us.
J.D.: [v.o.] Damn it!

Kim: I've been work up the courage to tell you that I'm falling-
J.D.: No! Don't say it.
Kim: Why not?
J.D.: Look, I think you're amazing, but I'm just not ready to say it back yet.
Kim: That's okay. I really hurt you, so it makes sense that you'd need more time to get there.
J.D.: [v.o.] Bullet dodged.
Kim: Hey, what the hell J.D., I love you.
J.D.: Cool!

Josephine: [high-pitched] Dr. Cox! We heard that you were waiting for the pediatrician.
Dr. Cox: Oh, please. Remember our rule?
Boon: We- We heard that you were waiting for the pediatrician. Uh, he's at home so we paged him and he said that we should give your daughter the shot ourselves.
Dr. Cox: There is no way in hell that I'm letting an incompetent intern touch my child.
Boon: Oh, oh, but... But you said we are the future of the hospital and we need to learn.
Dr. Cox: You need to learn on patients not related to me. Ones that I don't care if you kill or maim.
Boon: We are your doctors, deal with it.
Josephine: [normal voice] Yeah, we are you're doctors.
Dr. Cox: Why don't you always talk that way?
Josephine: Because it hurts my throat too much.

J.D.: Okay, not answering Kim's "I love you" was awkward, but at least it was over.
Kim: So, do you think you can ever be in love with me?
J.D.: [v.o.] Let it go, woman! Kim, let's focus on having the baby.
Kim: Answer the question.
J.D.: [v.o.] Lie to her.
Kim: And don't lie to me.

J.D.: Look, I think you're amazing, right? I have I have mentioned that. And... And even though I'm not you know, in love with you right now, I really hope that one day I wake up feeling what you said you feel, even though I kinda asked you not to say it.
Kim: Do you really hope that?
J.D.: With all my heart.
Kim: Because I always dreamed of finding a guy who hoped he can fall in love with me, someday.
J.D.: Really? That's kind of weird.
Kim: No! J.D.? Do you actually think that's enough for me? There are a lot of guys out there who think I'm a good catch. The words "Cute as a button" have been thrown around on more than one occasion.
