‘The One After Rachel and Joey Kiss’

Rachel and Joey vow to talk to Ross before their relationship goes any further. But when Ross goes first and tells Joey that he kissed Charlie, Joey struggles to find the right time to break his news to Ross. Meanwhile, Phoebe finds out that Mike needs to break up with a woman he has been dating for the past few months, and Monica has her hair done in cornrows.

Ross: Last night, after you guys broke up- So sorry to hear about that, by the way. Well, Charlie and I were talking, and- Well-
Joey: You kissed.
Ross: Wh- What? What? What would give you that idea?
Joey: I saw you.
Ross: Yeah, we kissed.

Ross: I am speechless. I mean, the fact that you would put my happiness first like that, I mean You're an incredible friend, do you know that?
Joey: Well, look, before you go-
Ross: No, I mean it. I mean, you're so loyal, man. And selfless and generous.

Ross: You know, I've known Chandler longer, so I always think of him as my best friend. But now I may have to rethink some stuff.

Ross: Hey, if there is ever anything I can do for you-

Rachel: Really? Excited?
Ross: What, are you kidding? I have had some very dirty dreams about this.
Rachel: Excuse me. You didn't tell him, did you?
Joey: I couldn't. He was saying all these really nice things about me. I didn't want him to get mad and take them back. I'm gonna edge out Chandler!

Chandler: Again, let's journey back. As I recall, what Rachel said was she had never noticed the shape of your skull before. And Joey? Well, Joey didn't realize there was anything different.
