Quote from Adrian Monk

Adrian Monk: You remember Peter Crawley, the branch manager. Three and a half hours. That is a long lunch break. Natalie, you see that blue ticket? That's from a parking garage. Why would he use a parking garage? He has a private space right out front. Oh, my God. The back of his neck. It's sunburned.
Natalie: So?
Adrian Monk: He just bought a car. A convertible. A car he didn't want anybody else to see.
Natalie: He's strong enough.
Adrian Monk: He's tall enough.
Natalie: He has a key to the gate.
Adrian Monk: He's the guy!
Natalie: You're the guy. Look at you! Mr. Monk! [gushes]

Quote from Adrian Monk

Adrian Monk: We were right about the new car, Jaguar.
Natalie: How can you tell?
Adrian Monk: It's the same shape as the toy on his desk.
Natalie: Well, I hope he has a good warranty because it's leaking oil.
Adrian Monk: That's not oil.

Quote from Natalie

Natalie: Is it blood?
Adrian Monk: Yeah.
Natalie: Oh, God. [Monk opens the trunk] Don't look, don't look, don't look!
Adrian Monk: I have to look, I'ma detective.
Natalie: I'm talking to myself. Don't look, don't look.

Quote from Captain Stottlemeyer

Natalie: How's it going?
Captain Stottlemeyer: Well, it's definitely the bank manager. Shot twice in the head. .22 caliber.
Adrian Monk: A .22, just like the teller.
Captain Stottlemeyer: Just like the teller, only she's not dead. Looks like our Russian friend never learned how to share. Anybody ever tell you you look really sharp in that uniform?
Adrian Monk: You really think so? I love a clip-on. So any sign of the jewelry or the cash?
Captain Stottlemeyer: No, nothing yet. [Monk groans] Monk, I know how much that bracelet means to you. I got two shifts of guys in there. We're ripping the house apart. We'll be here all night if we have to be.
Adrian Monk: I appreciate that.

Quote from Adrian Monk

Natalie: Wait up, wait up, wait. Okay, what is going on?
Adrian Monk: What do you mean?
Natalie: You know what I mean. What are we doing? Trudy's bracelet could be in there.
Adrian Monk: It's a pawn ticket. I found it in Crawley's pocket. He pawned something yesterday three hours after the robbery. See?
Natalie: You didn't tell the Captain?
Adrian Monk: I will, I promise, after we check it out.
Natalie: No, no, no, no.
Adrian Monk: Natalie, if they find that bracelet first, it'll get locked away in some evidence room for about ten years.
Natalie: Okay, go.

Quote from Lieutenant Disher

Captain Stottlemeyer: Here we go.
Lieutenant Disher: Phew. How long was that? Phew.
Captain Stottlemeyer: How long was what?
Lieutenant Disher: I thought you were timing me. I was practicing. Didn't you notice?
Captain Stottlemeyer: Nope, sorry. Hey, look, why don't you do it again? This time I'll clock you. Go for it. Really go for it. See if you can't break the world's record.
Lieutenant Disher: You think I can?
Captain Stottlemeyer: Absolutely.
Lieutenant Disher: Okay. Hold on.
Captain Stottlemeyer: Okay. You ready? And go.

Quote from Adrian Monk

Tiny Werner: I heard you the first time.
Adrian Monk: I only rang it once.
Tiny Werner: Doesn't matter, I was just closing up. Come back tomorrow.
Natalie: No, tomorrow's too late. Please? It's very important.
Tiny Werner: Ah, rent-a-cop? I'm not afraid of you.
Adrian Monk: No, I'm not- We're just here- Look, we wanna redeem this.
Tiny Werner: You're not the same guy.
Adrian Monk: No, sir, the same guy is dead.
Tiny Werner: Dead?
Natalie: Deceased.
Tiny Werner: Deceased?
Adrian Monk: He was a bank robber. Or at least an accomplice.
Natalie: Yeah, the merchandise he sold you was probably stolen.
Tiny Werner: He said this stuff belonged to his grandmother.
Natalie: And you believed him?
Tiny Werner: I believe everybody. Store policy. Stay here.

Quote from Adrian Monk

Adrian Monk: No. No, it's not here. Is this all he had? Look. We're looking for a bracelet. You see?
Tiny Werner: Ooh, nice piece. I like the bracelet too. [chuckles] Sorry. He did say there was more where this came from. Said he still had half a box full of stuff back in San Francisco.
Adrian Monk: Half a box? That's an unusual phrase.
Tiny Werner: That's what the man said.
Adrian Monk: A box. Half a box.

Quote from Adrian Monk

Adrian Monk: Madge, I think Trudy's bracelet is still here in the bank.
Madge: Still here?
Adrian Monk: Yeah. Yes. Crawley told a Pawn Broker in Brisbane that he still had a half a box full of Jewelry somewhere in his-
Captain Stottlemeyer: A pawn Broker in Brisbane? I guess my cell phone was off the hook?
Adrian Monk: Here's the thing.
Natalie: Yeah, we just weren't sure.
Adrian Monk: We know how busy you are.
Adrian Monk: It's a big job.
Captain Stottlemeyer: It's okay.
Natalie: Just a little lead.
Adrian Monk: Natalie didn't think we should bother you.
Captain Stottlemeyer: It's okay. We'll talk about it later.
