‘I Coulda Been a Lawyer’
Season 6, Episode 13 - Aired January 23, 2019
Beverly campaigns for another stop sign following a minor car accident, reigniting her claim that she could have been a lawyer. Meanwhile, Murray gets behind Barry when it's time to apply to colleges.
Quote from Murray
Murray: Hey. I, um, read your essay.
Barry: Let me guess. I'm a moron for telling the truth.
Murray: You really are, but I loved it anyway.
Barry: Seriously?
Murray: Yeah. It moved me.
Barry: Why? All I did was talk about getting my heart shattered and how this year was a total waste.
Murray: Barry, what you wrote was honest and real, and it shows how much you've grown, and that's more important than anything you can put on some stupid college resume.
Barry: Important enough to get me into Tufts?
Murray: You know, I think it's time we stop worrying about all that stuff.
Barry: But I know college is the only thing you care about.
Murray: You know, there's one thing I care about more. You.
Quote from Erica
Beverly: Buckle up, baby. God knows what kind of drivers are out today.
Erica: Good news is you got us that new stop sign.
Beverly: Wasn't easy, you know.
Erica: Well, for you, it was. You could've been a lawyer.
Quote from Barry
Barry: Boom! Got it. Add master of all cubes to my college resume.
Adam: I never thought I'd say these words, but I'm incredibly impressed.
Barry: Dude, it's easy. I just bought a bunch of other cubes and peeled off the stickers.
Adam: Oh, so you cheated.
Barry: Of course I did! You suck, Mr. Rubik! I cannot wait 'til everyone forgets about you and your stupid toy.
Adam: Mark my words, that toy is more than a fad. Rubik and his cube will be here forever.
Barry: [throws a Rubik's cube at Adam] I get the appeal now.
