Ross: Hey, Chandler, there's a party tomorrow. You'll feel better then.
Chandler: I'm gonna be okay. You don't have to throw a party for me.
Monica: It's Joey's birthday.
Chandler: Oh, then if anybody should have a party, it should be him.

Rachel: I want to quit, but then I think I should stick it out. Then I think: "Why would a person stay in such a demeaning job just because it's remotely related to the field they're interested in?
Monica: Gee, I don't know, Rach. Order up. Yentl soup, a James Beans, and a Howdy, hold the Doody.

Monica: You're going out on a date with the noisy guy upstairs?
Phoebe: Well, he's very charming.
Monica: I know. He's too charming. But if you two start going out, it's gonna make it so much harder for me to hate him.
Phoebe: Well, you're just going to have to try.

Joey: How many did you have? They're pure vodka.

Rachel: Hey. The most unbelievable thing happened today.

Rachel: So I'm having lunch at Monica's and this guy starts talking to me, and it turns it he
works for a buyer at Bloomingdale's and there happens to be an opening in his department. So I gave him my phone number and he's going to call me this weekend to see if he can get me an interview.
Ross: So this guy's helping you for no apparent reason? And he's a total stranger?
Rachel: Yeah. His name is "Mark" something.
Ross: Sounds like "Mark Something" wants to have some sex!
Rachel: What?
Ross: I'm just saying, why else would he swoop in out of nowhere for no reason?
Rachel: To be nice?

Ross: So I heard about this Mark guy that Rachel met today.
Monica: Isn't it great?
Ross: Yeah, pretty good. He sounds like a nice, good guy.
Monica: Oh, he is. And he is so dreamy. I mean, when he left, I actually used the phrase: "Hummina, hummina, hummina."

Monica: How you feeling?
Chandler: Well, my apartment isn't there anymore 'cause I drank it.

Chandler: Why can't we talk in here with witnesses?

Joey: Ask Chandler. He fooled around with her. She told me you said you could really fall for her.

Monica: Why don't you just call Mark? Who says you have to sit and wait for him? You've got to make stuff happen.
