Quote from Robert

Robert: [clears throat] May I say that when I come over, I never sleep. No, no, no. I'm always sleeping is what I am. I'm... out. [to Amy] Why would you tell them that I sleep over?
Amy: What, you're taking their side?
Robert: I'm not taking anybody's side. I'm just saying that you should relax!
Amy: Don't tell me to relax! You relax!

Quote from Peter

Peter: Mama, what's taking so long? I've been sitting in the van. So what's the story? Are we bringing Amy back to Pennsylvania, or what? [Amy goes off to her room]
Hank: Amy.
Peter: Hey, Ray. What's up, man?

Quote from Debra

Debra: Listen, I know that things have not been perfect so far.
Ray: Seriously, Debra, punch out for the day.
Debra: But the bottom line is, we're all adults here. We should be able to work out any differences that we have.
Pat: I think Hank and I really need to pray on all of that.
Debra: Well, you know what? Why don't we pray together?
Ray: What?
Robert: What?
Debra: Well, this is a value that we all actually share, right? We could pray together to work out our differences here and now.
Ray: Oh, God.
Debra: Ray.
Ray: What? "Oh, God." I'm kicking things off.

Quote from Frank

Hank: It's a nice thought, Debra, but I'm not sure this is the environment...
Frank: See, Marie? I bet all this stuff about church is a load of crap, too. Probably spends all day Sunday watching TV in a muffin shop.
Hank: You know what, Debra? I will pray... for you.
Frank: Oh, no. You don't pray for me, pal. I pray for you.
Robert: All right, Dad, just take it easy.
Frank: No. This guy wants to go, let's go.
[Frank kneels down in front of the coffee table, makes the sign of the cross, and holds his hands together in prayer]

Quote from Ray

Ray: All right, all right! This is just beautiful, isn't it? What did I tell you, huh? Don't get involved! And you gotta come talking and talking and get people praying. Well, nice job, 'cause now we got ourselves a holy war. I'm outta here.

Quote from Peter

Peter: Okay, so we're simpatico, all right? So that's why you and me are gonna break up this wedding.
Wait a minute.
Ray: Look, I think you got the wrong idea there, Peter, okay? I'm not for breaking up Robert and Amy's wedding.
Peter: I thought we were friends.
Ray: Yeah, but friends can disagree.
Peter: No, they can't.
Ray: But you just disagreed with me right there.
Peter: I- Oh, aha. Uh-huh. Oh, you are crafty. Uh-huh. Ah, how I misjudged you.
Ray: All right, come on, Peter.
Peter: No, no. Let me tell you something, Mr. Baro-nay. I don't need your help breaking up this wedding. Your weirdo family's done most of that work for me. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a job to finish.

Quote from Peter

Pat: Amy, please come home. We'll make peanut brittle.
Peter: Here, Mama, let me try. Hey, sissy, it's Petey. Why don't you come on out, and we'll have a little talk, just you and me in the van?

Quote from Ray

Marie: No good can come from family?
Ray: [whispers] Her family.
