Quote from Mike

Frankie: Well, look who's here. It's your dad... Mike Heck. Welcome to the show, Mike. Do you have any questions for our guest, Brick?
Mike: Sure. Have you seen the remote?
Frankie: So, Mike, what brings you to our talk show?
Mike: Well... I am a famous actor starring in a movie about sports highlights. Look... I even brought a clip.

Quote from Mike

Frankie: [v.o.] Out here in the middle, we love to chat. We chat at the grocery store. We chat at the gas station. Yep, there's nothing we look forward to more than a good chat... unless it's this one.
Brick: Can we chat for a minute?
Frankie: Uh, sure. [sighs] Mike?
Mike: Really? I thought you had this covered.
[As Mike and Frankie sit down on the couch in front of Brick, Mike turns the TV on]
Frankie: Mike.
Mike: I was gonna mute it.

Quote from Brick

Brick: Oh, I remember. I do have an upcoming project.
Frankie: Well, great.
Brick: I'm going to the Fall fantasy dance.
Frankie: You are?
Brick: Yeah. It's at the banquet hall of the cozy stay suites and corporate center. And it's semi-formal... that's almost formal.
Frankie: Wow, so... so you have a date?
Brick: No, but most people go in groups.
Frankie: Okay, so you're going with a group.
Brick: That, I will not.
Mike: So, you're just gonna walk into a ballroom alone? Do you know anybody else that's going?
Brick: Nope.
Axl: Whoa. That's hardcore.

Quote from Frankie

Frankie: [sighs] Ugh. Mike, I just want it to go well for him, you know? I just want him to ask a girl to dance and for her to say yes, and I don't want him to be crushed... [Brick returns] Okay, let's get you to the dance, Mr. Sharp!

Quote from Frankie

Frankie: [v.o.] So, it was good. We successfully delivered Brick to his dance, and we were feeling cautiously optimis... [cellphone vibrates] Oh, crap.
Frankie: Oh, crap. "Come get me."

Quote from Brick

Frankie: Oh, look. Here he comes. Act casual. Hey! There's Mr. Sharp!
Mike: Where's your shoe?
Frankie: Did you lose it dancing?
Brick: I don't know.
Frankie: Did a bully take it?
Brick: I don't know.
Frankie: Well...
Mike: Doesn't matter. Get in.
Frankie: So, how was it?
Brick: Fine.
Mike: And you had a good time?
Brick: I guess so.
Frankie: Did you hang out with anybody?
Brick: I don't really want to talk about it.

Quote from Brick

Frankie: Brick, she was asking you out.
Brick: Really?
Frankie: Yes! Go! Go!
Brick: Wait up! I'm coming!
Frankie: Brick! Book!
Brick: So, where did you find my shoe?
Cindy: Under the table.
Brick: Really? Thought it was there.
