Oscar: Think I can tag along? Al really meant a lot to me. Also, I recently gambled away my car.
Beverly: I guess so.
Adam: This is awesome. We're picking up historic people from Pops' past just like in Bill & Ted's. [imitates electric guitar playing]
Adult Adam: [v.o.] And just like that, the Goldbergs' excellent adventure... was back on track.

Beverly: This feels like my dad. The ambiance, the mood. [jazz music playing] You think they let anybody sing?
Erica: Nope, so stop staring at the mic.
Shorty: I am sorry, the club's or over. The child's gonna have to leave.
Beverly: Oh, I'm sorry...
Shorty: Kidding. Would you and your doll like a Whiskey Sour?

Murray: Uh, we just stopped by because her dad, Albert Solomon, loved this place.
Shorty: Hold on. Beverly? Oh, my goodness. Al told us all about you guys. Hey, everyone, this is Al Solomon's kid.
Man: Hey!
Shorty: My name is Shorty. Al was a great friend, a friend to us all.
Beverly: Oh, that means the world to hear you say that.
Shorty: And, man, could he play that banjo. Are you musical, too?
Beverly: Shorty, I would be honored. [hands Shorty her handbag and walks away]
Shorty: Wait, what?
Erica: We apologize in advance.

Shorty: This is from just before Al passed.
Beverly: He wasn't supposed to be on the road.
Adam: Whoa. Pops hit two cars. [crashing sounds on video]
Shorty: He hit way more than that.
Murray: Okay, we get it.
Shorty: I feel bad even showing you guys this.
Beverly: Well, my dad would have insisted on paying for all the repairs, so, Murray, checkbook.
Murray: I hate this day.
Beverly: And, also, I can't spread his ashes at the scene of his last car accident.

Adam: Hold on. Pops' favorite diner is just a few blocks from here.
Shorty: I could have a nosh.
Adult Adam: [v.o.] While I was excited for our journey to continue, my mom began to suspect that something was up.
Beverly: Murray [bleep] Goldberg.

Geoff: You know, I was thinking, if wedding planning was something you wanted to avoid, we could just elope.
Erica: Sure, we can hit the courthouse tomorrow before my nap. Or after, if you want me to be in a better mood.
Geoff: That was a trick question. You don't want to have a big celebration?
Erica: I don't want to talk about this now.
