‘My Long Goodbye’

With Nurse Roberts in a coma and showing no signs of waking up, everyone comes to say their goodbyes, except Carla. When Jordan announces she's having a C-section today, Dr. Cox is reluctant to have the birth of his daughter associated with Laverne's death.

Dr. Cox: Here, boys and girls.
Dr. Kelso: Thanks.
Dr. Cox: Truth to be told, they are on that guy.
[The Janitor raises his glass]
J.D.: [v.o.] Friends have a way of helping you move on. Even if it's as simple as changing the subject.
Elliot: Dr. Cox, I cannot wait to see that little baby of yours.
Dr. Cox: Yeah.
Elliot: Must be such a madhouse with everyone there to see Jordan. [Dr. Cox winces] What?
Dr. Cox: I only told you guys, and you guys are all here. Well, what's the worst that can happen, right?

J.D.: They're probably just forming a line outside to make sure they come in one by one.
Jordan: Screw it. You know what? You're the godfather!
J.D.: Yes! Yes! Yes! In your face! Can you name her Jennifer Dylan?
Jordan: Sure. What the hell?
