‘Socalyalcon VI’

Season 6, Episode 19 -  Aired March 14, 2017

As Jess helps Nick prepare for a book convention, she realizes she's acting more like his girlfriend than his friend. Meanwhile, Schmidt and Cece struggle to keep their friends out when they finally move in to their house.

Quote from Nick

Nick: [leaving a voicemail] I don't know why you disappeared, Jess, but you know what, I'm sure you'll fill me in back at the hotel. Also, when I sign a book "Kill yourself," you think they know that's a reference to Pepperwood's dilemma at the fish market, right? Actually, you know what, that's a question for Reagan. Okay, sorry. See you later, Jess.

Quote from Schmidt

Schmidt: Cece, come check this out. [locks clicking]
Cece: What? Did that, did that just lock everything?
Schmidt: One touch secures every point of entry in the entire house, bringing us convenience and real-time peace of mind.
Cece: Okay, can I unlock it?
Schmidt: Well, unlocking it requires a pass code. Ours is "my beautiful Cece," all one word.
Cece: Very sweet.
Schmidt: [phone chimes] Oh, shoot. Actually, I screwed up. Um, it's "my beautiful, beautiful Cece." Two "beautifuls."
Cece: Okay.
Schmidt: [phone chimes] [clears throat] Oh, you know what, I know what it is.
Cece: Great, just put it in. I'm freezing.
Schmidt: I can't. It only gives you three tries, then it locks you out of the app for 12 hours.
Cece: For 12 hours?!
Schmidt: It's fine. We'll go analog.

Quote from Schmidt

Schmidt: Give me your key.
Cece: Uh, I'd love to, but it's on the counter, next to yours.
Schmidt: It's gonna be fine. Don't worry about a thing. I promise you, we'll figure this out. [to phone] Override.
[phone chimes] My beautiful, beautiful Cece. [phone chimes] Override. Override.
Cece: Oh, God.
[later:]
Schmidt: [coughing]
Cece: Were you in the chimney?
Schmidt: [hacks] Yes. The 26th point of entry. [coughing]
Cece: Oh, my God.
Schmidt: Also, we have squirrels.
Cece: Aw, I love squirrels.
Schmidt: They're not alive. I counted... at least nine of 'em. [Cece closes the door on Schmidt] Oh, my God. Cece. [knocking] My beautiful, beautiful Cece!
