Quote from Marie

Ray: Listen, I know you're hurt but there's something you should understand. We didn't plan that meeting. You know, the neighbors just came over.
Marie: We're not hurt dear. The neighbors were right.
Ray: Right?
Frank: Hey, we're not perfect.
Ray: What?
Marie: We just didn't know how our behavior affected others. These people around here are very nice.
Ray: So everything's okay with you?
Marie: Yes.
Frank: Water under the bridge.
Ray: Well, good. I'm glad you feel that way. I thought you might still be upset. You know, that meeting was supposed to be constructive.
Frank: And it was.
Marie: Very constructive.

Quote from Frank

Ray: So you're not mad-
Marie: No, we really don't have anything more to say, Ray.
Ray: Hey, you got some big sandwiches.
Marie: Oh, I'm sorry, dear. That's for the neighbors.
Ray: The neighbors are coming over?
Frank: It's the least we could do for all the trouble we've caused.

Quote from Ray

Frank: [imaginary, in mirror] Can't sleep, huh?
Marie: [also imaginary] It's in the Bible. Honor thy mother.
Frank: What about the father?
Marie: Okay, him too.
Ray: I didn't do anything.
Debra: [o.s.] Ray.
Ray: I'm coming. [sees the pope in the mirror] I know. I know.

Quote from Ray

Ray: Thank you, Father. This is great. Let me ask you something. Would it be wrong to let them know how I feel? That I'm just sick and tired of being manipulated and treated like a child and I'm just not gonna let them do it anymore?
Priest: Are you going to take the name of the Lord in vain when you do?
Ray: No.
Priest: Then go with God.
Ray: You guys, you're great. I'm gonna tell all my friends about you, really. [genuflects]

Quote from Ray

Ray: All right. Mom and Dad, listen up here. All right, I don't care what you think about me. This has been a long time coming. I'm gonna say it right now and you're gonna hear it. [silence]
Frank: Say what you wanna say, Ray. We're listening.
Marie: Well?
Ray: Listen... I'm sorry.
Marie: He said it! The good thing.
Frank: You did the right thing.
Marie: That's all we ever wanted to hear. That's all a parent ever wants from a child.
Ray: Constant apology, right.
Frank: Good to have you back, Ray. We missed you.
