Diane follows through with getting her portrait painted by Phillip Semenko (guest star Christopher Lloyd), despite his warning that this will end her relationship with Sam.

Quote from Sam

Sam: You go out that door now and I'm going to be crawling with chicks by sundown. Wait, wait, wait. I'm not through yet. [grabs the painting] You want that? Watch this. I'm gonna do it too. I'm gonna do this. All right.
Wait a minute! I'm saving my best for last! You ready for my best? Okay, this is my best shot, right here. [Sam pulls a goofy face]
Diane: My God. Childish. It's degrading to me, to you. To the human race. This doesn't bother me at all. Stop it, stop it, stop it!
Sam: Gotcha. Gotcha. I win again.

Quote from Sam

Diane: This is it. We have sunk as low as human beings can sink. There's no degradation left.
Sam: Are you OK?
Diane: Do I look OK?
Sam: Actually, you look a little like Rudolph. Come to me, my sweet little reindeer. Your big old stag's in town.
Diane: Don't touch me.
