‘Graduation’
Season 5, Episode 24 - Aired May 15, 1998
It's time for the class to graduate, but Mr. Feeny gives them one more assignment: to write about their feelings as their high-school days come to an end. Topanga seeks Mr. Feeny's help about whether she should go to Yale, while Shawn comes to realize his time at John Adams High meant more to him than he first thought.
Quote from Eric
Eric: Feeny thinks he's retiring. He thinks he's moving away. Uh-uh. I'm gonna stop him. I don't know how but I am. Maybe I'll ask the French for help. Or the Belgians, they're not doing anything.
Quote from Eric
Eric: As most of you already know, Mr. Feeny will be retiring. And as a former student at John Adam's High, it made me real mad. Hello, I'm Eric Matthews.
Quote from Cory
Mr. Feeny: What'd you do, rent a couple of chickens?
Cory: Yeah. Don't step on them or else I lose my deposit.
Quote from Mr. Feeny
Topanga: I'm doing it and I'm getting an A.
Mr. Feeny: It's for no credit, Ms. Lawrence.
Topanga: I have six hundred and ninety-nine As. I need one more. Give me the A, Feeny.
Mr. Feeny: Okay, fine. You got an A. You don't even have to do it. I'll just give you an A because I'm scared of you.
Quote from Eric
Mr. Feeny: Eric, give me the microphone.
Eric: Back off, old man.
Quote from Eric
Eric: You are going to live in that house next to my parents until you die or until I die, whichever one comes first. Although, you know, it will probably be you because you're, what, eighty?
Quote from Cory
Cory: Shawn's speaking in public. This will never happen again in our lives.
Quote from Jack
Jack: Why don't you appreciate my caricature of you with the big head and the tiny body, and you're riding the big diploma like it's a magic carpet ride to your future, huh? Why?
