Beverly: Boiled?
Jane Bales: I don't know food! When I was a child, all my mother ever made were gin and tonics and cold conversation. God, I love her.
Beverly: For me, I remember going into my father's store and watching him put out those paper cups.
Jane Bales: I didn't know that.
Beverly: It's kind of the only connection I have left.
