Lieutenant Disher: Uh, is there a problem?
Jennie Mandeville: I'm claustrophobic. Is this the only room that you have?
Lieutenant Disher: All the rooms are the same size, miss. Please, just have a seat. [starts recording] This is Lieutenant Disher. I'm in interrogation room A with Jennie Mandeville. So you say you robbed a bank.
Jennie Mandeville: That's right. I went inside and I saw one of those pens. You know, chained to the desk? And I really needed a pen. So I snapped it off and I put it in my purse.
Lieutenant Disher: You stole a pen? [she sobs] One pen? [she nods]
Jennie Mandeville: Oh, God. Do you think God will forgive me?
Lieutenant Disher: I don't know, ma'am. But we do. You're free to go.
