Bud: Why yes, it is.
Tim: What are pollution credits?
Bud: You see, each company in an industrial zone is allotted a certain amount of emissions. Now, if one company doesn't use their entire share, they can sell pollution credits to another company.
Tim: It's a good example of corporate teamwork.
Randy: It's corporate bull. I mean, Binford's just found a loophole to pollute more than it should. Don't you think that's a bit sleazy?
Bud: Wait a minute. Now, what we're doing is perfectly legal. Besides, we won't need the credits once our emission control system is in place.
Randy: Well, how long's that gonna take?
Bud: Roughly ten years.
