[As Frasier and Madeline kiss on the couch, Eddie jumps up and joins them]
Madeline: Well, what's your name, little fella?
Frasier: You promise you won't laugh?
[Madeline gives Frasier a bewildered look and points towards Eddie]
Frasier: The dog. His name is Eddie.
