Debra decides to return to the world of work with a job in copywriting.

Quote from Ray

Debra: Oh my God. Oh my God.
Ray: Happy?
Debra: Who do you think you are? How dare you!
Ray: What do you mean? I'm being supportive.
Debra: But you grovel for my job?
Ray: Not for long. I just... Charlotte's a very reasonable person. I told her that, you know, Pete Za...
Debra: She told you about Pete Za?
Ray: Professor Pete Za. Wow. What were you thinking?
Debra: Oh, it was good! I thought it was good!
Ray: His hair was cheese.
Debra: That was his hat, Ray! All right? I was trying to reach a wide demographic. It was for teens and adults. And, you know what, you wouldn't understand.
Ray: See, that's the kind of attitude that might get people fired.

Quote from Ray

Debra: [sobs] I thought it was funny. Ally liked it.
Ray: Aw, honey. Ally's six.
Debra: I know. But she's the only one I have I can run things by.
Ray: I'm here. [Debra scoffs] You know what you should try tomorrow? Lynn Guini. Lynn Guini. That would be funny. You know, like, spaghetti hair and meatballs.

Quote from Marie

Marie: [enters] I brought you comfort food. Oh, I'm sorry you got fired. You know, it's probably for the best. If you want to expand your horizons, how about taking up gardening? I mean, your yard could use a lot of work.
Ray: Hey, gardening is fun. [off Debra's look] You have lost weight. You look good. She looks good, doesn't she?
