After the Abbott Elementary teachers get a look inside the local charter school, Janine is determined to give Abbott a fresh look. Meanwhile, Gregory avoids Barbara after his relationship with her daughter fizzled out.
Quote from Barbara
Gregory: Oh, uh, Mrs. Howard. Can you please help me with this window?
Barbara: Oh, sure. They don't call me the Window Whisperer for nothing. Alright. Okay, now, press directly here and release the pressure. [Gregory grunts] Ah, there you go. That all?
Gregory: Um, no, actually, it's not.
[aside to camera:]
Gregory: I don't know why I avoided it for so long. I'm not a peter-out kind of guy. I'm happy Janine reminded me of that.
[back:]
Gregory: I actually wanted to talk to you about something.
Barbara: [sighs] And I wanted to talk to you, too. I just want to say I'm sorry things didn't work out between you and Taylor. [off Gregory's look] Oh! Oh, don't tell me I'm breaking the news.
Gregory: Uh...
Barbara: Ooh! I told that child, "You have got to be straightforward." Petering out is just not of the Lord. Mnh-mnh!
Gregory: Wait, so she was petering out on me? Do you know why?
Barbara: Well, I think she said you a "broke bwah."
Gregory: I think she's saying I'm a broke boi.
Barbara: Oh. No. [walks out]

Jacob: Well, um, hey, you got to hand it to Ava. This is... This is a blast.
Janine: Yeah.
Barbara: And it is so good that the kids can feel special today.
Janine: Oh, are you saying that I was right, Barbara?
Barbara: Uh... no. [walks off]
