After J.D. and Turk save the life of a TV news camera-man, Dr. Kelso decides to feature them on posters promoting the hospital. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox asks J.D. to do his own evaluation, and Elliot is hurt when Carla lies to get out of spending the evening with her.

Elliot: Look, Darryl's gonna be fine but I'm worried about you. You're a little upset, so I'm going to set you up in a room with some fluids and maybe a Valium. Okay?
Patricia: Elliot, thank you.
Carla: Hey, there you are. Elliot, you're coming, right?
Elliot: In a sec.

J.D.: [v.o.] It's funny how our perceptions can be so off.
Nurse Roberts: Hot cocoa, sweetie?
Elliot: Thanks.
Nurse Roberts: Anytime.
J.D.: [v.o.] Like when you're searching for a place to fit in and you don't even realize you've been there the whole time. Or how a bunch of posters can't turn you into a role model if you've already been one for years. Of course, in my case, I knew exactly where I stood. And it didn't feel that good.
