‘The Prom’

When Axl puts off telling Ashley that he asked her to prom by mistake until it's too late, Frankie and Mike insist that he honors his commitment. Meanwhile, Brick stages a play for his parents, and Sue and Carly want to find a cafeteria table instead of just walking around.
Quote from Reverend TimTom
Mike: Axl. What you got there?
Axl: Uh, I'm not gonna take weird Ashley to prom in my underwear. Think!
Frankie: [v.o.] It happened just like that. Axl did the right thing. Maybe it was something I said, or Reverend TimTom sang, or Mike threatened, but something must have gotten through to him.
[flashback to Reverend TimTom as he's about to leave Axl's room:]
Reverend TimTom: It's one night, man. Be cool.
[present:]
Frankie: [v.o.] The point is, he wasn't a jerk. He was going to prom.

Frankie: Okay, she is so weird.
Mike: Axl is in for one long night.
Frankie: Yeah, but at least he did the right thing.
Mike: Oh, he really did the right thing.
Frankie: Yeah.
Frankie: [v.o.] Yep, the clay wasn't dry yet. We could still stuff in a few good lessons.

Brick: Want to see a show, Dad?
Frankie: [v.o.] And maybe they could stuff in a few good lessons for us, too.
Mike: You know, Brick... That sounds great.
Frankie: Actually, I have to get to the grocery store, 'cause we're running low on...
Mike: Sit down.
