Rose: Miles, what is going on? I thought you were gonna loosen up. I mean, you've always been frugal, but lately it's gotten out of hand.
Miles: I don't know. I guess it all started about a month ago when I went to see my doctor.
Rose: Oh, my God, Miles. Is something wrong?
Miles: Yes. He said I'm probably gonna live to be 100. Rose, I'm only budgeted to live until I'm 80.
Rose: What?
Miles: Don't you see, Rose? I'm a man living on a fixed income. All of a sudden, I'm afraid. I mean, I'll be retiring soon. What if I don't have enough left?
Rose: Why didn't you just tell me? I understand what you're going through. All people our age do. You know what? Once in a while, I could pay for a nice meal, too.
