‘I Drank The Mold’
Season 2, Episode 18 - Aired April 8, 2015
Beverly plans a birthday sleepover for Adam, but he would prefer something cooler. On the night, Adam's friends are actually excited about the sleepover, but only because they have plans to make it more epic. Adam's cool friend Garry brings a home-brewed bottle of beer, but when everyone except Adam drinks it, they all get sick. As a result, the kids' parents forbid them from hanging out with each other. Meanwhile, when Erica and Barry beg Murray to buy them a new CD player, he agrees under one condition: that they write the greast song ever.
Quote from Beverly
Erica: Forget the mills. We need to think bigger. The greatest songs are always about love. About loss and yearning. About driving all night. And Islands in the Stream. And seconding that emotion. Love is a battlefield.
Barry: Exactly. It's a battlefield! And you gotta crush your enemies, like a ninja. A ninja of love!
Erica: Love Ninja!
Barry: That's it. We did it. We changed the world.

Adam: You know what, I'm not ready to lose you dudes. I don't care what my mom thinks.
Chad Kremp: She thinks we're a band of alcoholic rough-necks, and you're a snuggly little angel.
Adam: Then it's time I show her this angel has fallen.

Murray: So what we have here is a self-gift.
Erica: A what now?
Murray: A self-gift. You bought it for you, but gave it to me.
Erica: This was not a self-gift.
Murray: Fine. If it really is mine, then you can't use it. Ever.

Barry: Fight the power is my jam, not yours.
Murray: Well now I fight the power!
Erica: You can't fight the power. You are the power.
Murray: No, you are. And Chuck D. agrees.
Barry: Don't you dare say Chuck D's name.
Murray: Oh, I'll say it. And I'll say Professor Griff and Terminator X, and Flavor Flav. They all agree you're the power worth fighting.

Erica: The man just doesn't get music.
Pops: Did you ever stop to think why? When your dad was your age there was no music.
Barry: Because it wasn't invented yet.
