Other Adam: Yeah, that's, uh... That's next week.
Adam: So, you gonna quit this job?
Manager: What? You're quitting, Goldberg?
Other Adam: No!
Adam: But how can you have a Hollywood career and still work here?
Manager: I'll commute to both things. I mean, the studio has a jet. It's in my deal I can still sell cameras and whatnot.
Adam: That makes no sense. What's going on?
Other Adam: Well...

Adam: You paid him to lie to me?
Beverly: Here's the truth... Absolutely not.
Pops: Just tell the boy.
Beverly: Here's the truth... 100% yes.
Adam: What the hell, lady?
Beverly: You stopped believing in yourself. I had to do something.
Adam: Don't you get it? If he can't make it in Hollywood, I don't have a prayer. And no lies are gonna change that. I'm done.

Beverly: Actually... I have one more entrant.
Adam: Oh, no! No way! You've done enough!
Coach Nick: Sorry, clock ran out. That's what next season's for.
Beverly: Oh, I don't care. The dumb festival can be over. This is just for my son. May I?
Coach Nick: Do what you gotta do.
Adult Adam: [v.o.] In that moment, my mom did something I never could have imagined. She gave me a highlight reel of every movie I'd ever made. Maybe they weren't all award-winners, but thanks to her, I realized making movies wasn't about succeeding in Hollywood. It was about creating something special with the people I loved. Andy: Look.
Geoff: Chore wheel.

Geoff: A Penn college course guide?
Andy: We know how much you loved auditing that class. You should do more of it.
Barry: Yeah. You've always been there to support us. Now it's time for us to support you for a change.
Geoff: Guys, thanks. This is amazing.

Other Adam: Hey. Come to cast me in more of your family drama?
Adam: I'm actually here to say thank you.
Other Adam: For what?
Adam: I was looking at it all wrong. I let your story intimidate me when I should've been inspired by it. You're proof that guys like us from dinky Jenkintown can make it.
Other Adam: I'd hardly say I made it.
Adam: But you're gonna. With your skills? You were pretty convincing as "guy who just got a big break."
Other Adam: Did you notice that thing where I shook my head like I still couldn't believe it?
Adam: I believed that you couldn't believe it.
Other Adam: You know what? Maybe I will give it another shot.
Adam: You better. And who knows? Maybe Hollywood's big enough for two Adam Goldbergs.

Erica: So, what are you thinking?
Geoff: Well, this year, I followed the Dead, I started a failed business, and I did a whole lot of nothing. I think it's time I actually apply to college.
Erica: For real?
