Adam, Barry and Erica are not alone in trying to find their place at school on the first day of term, as Beverly attempts to become a teacher.

Barry: Yeah, I'm not a jock. Sure, I have the awesome skills and talent, but I just can't be that sweet and caring. It's not in me.

Mr. Glascott: Teachers only.
Principal Ball: The blond lady stays. Beverly, some jerk parked in my space.
Beverly: [scoffs] This will not stand.
Mr. Glascott: I got to go move my car.
Quote from Barry
Murray: Since you're asking so politely, I'll wait before I say no.
Erica: We need to discuss Mom's new position at William Penn Academy.
Adam: As you know, children need healthy walls between their academic and home lives.
Barry: And, if I may add, Mom is a monster that must be stopped!
Adam: No, Barry!
Erica: You promised!
Barry: [Sighs] Sorry! Sorry.
