Glenn: A toxic workplace is a workplace where an employee feels both unhappy and unwelcome. Now, what could cause that?
Jonah: Uh, your supervisor being a giant pain in the ass?
Amy: Oh, wow, Jonah had a little comment, shocking.
Garrett: Wow. Those two really don't get along.

Glenn: Well, no, no, this is a perfect example. Like, you need to communicate better. Look, let's practice. Who wants to say something critical about me?
Dina: Oh! Oh, Oh, Oh. Pick me. Pick me. I've got so many.
Glenn: Uh...
Dina: Come on.

Glenn: Okay, so one way to deal with conflict is to try and see it from the other person's point of view. Uh, for example, these two had a terrible breakup, which left Kelly feeling a lot of pain. So, Kelly, I want you to imagine that you're Jonah, and I want you, Jonah, to tell Kelly how you're feeling. Yeah, you can do this.
Kelly: Okay, uh, Kelly, I'm sorry I was such a bad boyfriend. But I also realize that you should be able to transfer stores if you want to.
Glenn: Um, yeah. That- That was okay. You know, it's always a little rough at first.

Kelly: I don't sound like that.
Cheyenne: Yeah, it's a little more squeaky, like [high-pitched] Hey, everybody, I'm Kelly!
Garrett: No, it's more like [high-pitched] Hi, everybody, I'm Kelly!
Mateo: [high-pitched] Hi, everyone, I'm Kelly! It's your girl, Kelly! [all impersonating Kelly]

Carol: Screw empathy. I want Jerry back.
Sandra: What? No.
Justine: Finders keepers. That is the law.
Janet: I think she should give him back.
Mateo: How do we decide?
Jonah: We could let Jerry decide.
Dina: How about we flip a coin? Winner takes Jerry, agreed?
Sandra: No, I don't think-
Carol: I'm good with that.
Amy: You guys, this is crazy.
Garrett: Let the coin do its work.
Sandra: Guys, listen, I'm not agreeing to give Jerry up.
Dina: Sandra, call it in the air.
Sandra: No, no, heads!
Dina: Tails. Carol, he's all yours.
Cheyenne: Yes! [all gasping]
Sandra: No.
Cheyenne: [as Fran Drescher] Uh-oh! [laughs]
Mateo: [laughs] So good.

Jonah: Hey, Glenn, uh, I've been thinking. What if the problem wasn't actually a toxic workplace but a toxic worker?
Glenn: Elias is my brother-in-law. Jerusha would kill me.

Jonah: Oh, no, no, no. That's not- No, I actually was thinking Kelly.
Glenn: Kelly?
Jonah: She's negative, she's unpleasant.
Mateo: She kicked a child.
Glenn: What?
Jonah: Well, that's not- I don't- I don't know that to be true. But I do think that Kelly is the problem. I mean, think about it. Before she worked here, did you think of this place as toxic?
Glenn: No.
Jonah: And what about now?
Glenn: Oh, my God.

Jerry: So it's just over?
Sandra: I'm sorry. I tried as hard as I could.
Jerry: Did you say best two out of three?
Sandra: No. I wish I had thought of that.
Jerry: I wish you had too. I'll always love you.
Sandra: That doesn't matter. You're with Carol now.
Jerry: Can we still be friends?
Sandra: Carol said no.

Jonah: I don't appreciate you trashing me and laughing behind my back.
Amy: I never laugh at you, Jonah. You never say anything funny.
Jonah: Oh, hey, there's nobody else around. We can stop. Do you, uh, do you feel like seeing a movie tonight?
Amy: No, I don't feel like seeing a movie right now.
Jonah: I just said there's nobody around. We don't have to fight anymore.
Amy: Okay, well I can't just switch it off on a dime.
Jonah: So are we still fighting?
Amy: Yeah, kind of. Just give me a minute. It'll fade.
Jonah: Take all the time you need.
Amy: Don't tell me what to do.
