‘My Old Friend's New Friend’
Season 4, Episode 1 - Aired August 31, 2004
When Carla and Turk return from their honeymoon, they realize settling into married life might not be as easy as they thought. Elliot feels left out of the group as tension remains between her and J.D. A new attending psychiatrist, Dr. Molly Clock (guest star Heather Graham), starts work at the hospital. Meanwhile, J.D. hopes the last week of his residency means something to Dr. Cox.
Quote from Carla
Carla: Look, you're a husband now. When you make decisions, you're supposed to think about what we need, not what you want.
Turk: Well, it doesn't seem like you're doing that. You gave away my clock. And you sold my chairs. And what the hell is up with these ridiculously tiny bowls?
Carla: They're sake cups, Jethro.
Turk: I knew that.
Carla: Everything I do, Turk, I do it for us.
Turk: Oh, yeah? Then why does Rowdy smell like daisies?
Carla: 'cause I had him filled with potpourri. You can keep the scooters.
Turk: That's what I'm talkin' 'bout.
Carla: Marriage is gonna be tricky.
Turk: Yeah.
Quote from Elliot
Elliot: How are your thighs?
Dr. Molly Clock: They're very hot and pink.
Elliot: Do you want me to rub ointment on them?
[fantasy: all the men in the cafeteria suddenly turn to watch Elliot and Molly]
Dr. Molly Clock: It's okay. [looking around] Weird.
Quote from J.D.
J.D.: Ka-pow.
Dr. Cox: Look at that. I knew I smelled that odd combination of fear and baby powder.
J.D.: [v.o.] How does he know about my belly rash?
