‘My No Good Reason’

Season 6, Episode 14 -  Aired March 22, 2007

After Elliot teams up with the Janitor to bring a terminal patient her dog, Dr. Kelso finally gets his opportunity to punish Elliot now she's in private practice. Dr. Cox and Nurse Roberts debate whether "everything happens for a reason". Meanwhile, Turk and J.D. can't stop thinking about the Turks' new nanny.

Quote from Carla

Turk: All right, baby, here it is: our nanny is very attractive, but you and I are married, our relationship is rock-solid, so I think we both know it's no big deal if I look at her every once in a while, right?
[later:]
Carla: Heather, we're gonna have to let you go. So sorry.

Quote from Turk

J.D.: [v.o.] So maybe sometimes bad things do happen for a reason. Like your hot nanny getting fired.
Carla: Turk, look at this!
[on the nanny cam tape, Heather is trying to scare Isabella:]
Heather: Blargh! Blargh! You know, for a half-breed baby, your parents have some pretty nice stuff.
[in real life:]
Carla: She was a racist thief!
Turk: Yeah, a smokin' hot racist thief. You look pretty.

Quote from Dr. Kelso

J.D.: [v.o.] Or how getting suspended can get a relationship back on track.
Dr. Kelso: Dr. Reid. Consider your suspension over. That said, you're still a ridiculous excuse for a doctor.
Elliot: He talked to me.

Quote from J.D.

J.D.: [v.o.] Be careful, though, because around here, if you start believing that bad things happen for a reason, it hurts that much more when they don't.
Dr. Cox: What's with all the sad faces?
J.D.: Laverne was in a car accident on her way to work. She's in a coma and unresponsive.
