J.D. promises a young burn victim that he will be able to attend his high-school graduation. As the anniversary of Turk & Carla's first date approaches, he gets ready to reveal he's learned Spanish. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox secretly puts Dr. Kelso on a diet.
Quote from Elliot
J.D.: Yeah, we probably shouldn't have done that.
Elliot: At least Emery's mom got some good pictures. She said she could always Photoshop out his anguish.
Quote from J.D.
J.D.: Hey, how come you helped me, even though I totally ignored your advice?
Elliot: I don't know. You were in a crappy situation and we're friends.
J.D.: And yet we only hang out when we're torturing burn victims.
Elliot: That's just because we're both usually seeing someone. You and I both disappear when we're in relationships.
J.D.: All right, you know what, let's make a pact. From now on, let promise each other that we'll always hang out, even if the other person's dating someone.
Elliot: Deal. But, what if one of us started dating someone that could be the one?
J.D.: Oh, we could totally diss each other if it's the one, or if it's someone, like, preposterously hot.
Elliot: Agreed. If I met a hottie, you'd never see me.
J.D.: Oh. What's the rule if the person's really fugly, but really, really easy?

J.D.: Hey, I gotta go pick up Sam. You want to come?
Elliot: Yeah. As long as you know that if I don't get to hold him the whole time I'll probably cry.

J.D.: What am I gonna tell to Emery? Did you hear the song we wrote? Nurse, do you mind?
Emery: [singing] Going to graduation. I'm going to graduation.
J.D.: It's called "I'm Going To Graduation (The Graduation Song)".
