Jess's job search hits the rocks when her time of the month arrives. Winston believes he is experiencing PMS as well. Nick tries to come to grips with his anger. Meanwhile, Schmidt meets his new sex-charged boss.

Interviewer: Jessica Day?
Jess: Yes, I'm here.
Interviewer: Weren't you here the other day?
Jess: [chuckles] Weren't you here the other day? Yes, I was.
Quote from Schmidt
Schmidt: Ladies and gentlemen, drumroll please.
Nick: [imitates drum roll]
Schmidt: Cut! Cut, Nick! Snare drum. I shouldn't have to specify. Jess, that was a cymbal.
Jess: Cymbals are part of the drum kit.
Nick: Yeah.

Schmidt: Nevertheless, we are gathered here today to celebrate the reemployment of Jessica F. Day.
Jess: Not my middle initial.
Schmidt: Who will once again be in the classroom, molding the minds of children.
Jess: Actually, I'm gonna be remolding the minds of grown-ups, 'cause I'm gonna be teaching creative writing to adults.
Schmidt: So, what, are you gonna be, like, reading a bunch of weirdos' writing?
Nick: Well, I hope you like stories about vampires and bad childhoods.
Jess: I do.
Nick: You're gonna get them.

Nick: What's going on, man?
Winston: I don't really have PMS.
Nick: I know. You're a man.
Winston: [sobs] I miss Shelby.
Nick: This is all about your breakup? I know just the thing you need.
Jess: Oh, no.
Quote from Nick
Nick: Just relax and breathe. I'll take your shoulders.
Jess: I'll take your feet.
Winston: This is really weird, man. Really weird.
Schmidt: [to Tran] Cool vibe, man.
Winston: What are you guys doing now? What have I gotten myself into?
Schmidt: Hey, lady, crushing that flute, babe.
Nick: And breathe.
Winston: Okay, I'm trying. I'm gonna do that.
