Schmidt takes Jess to his quiet place when she needs to focus on fixing Cece's wedding dress. Meanwhile, Winston and Aly try to hide their feelings for each other at work.

Nick: This is rock bottom. I spent $200 on burner phones and Reagan still hasn't responded to my original text.
Cece: Why don't you just text her as yourself?
Nick: You don't think it's too late?
Cece: Only one way to find out.
Nick: All right. What do I have to lose at this point? I don't have any more money.

Cece: Get to the point.
Nick: Not gonna send any of that. "Hey, Reagan." I'm gonna keep that. "Reagan, it's Nick. Would you go to Cece and Schmidt's wedding with me? I would love to see you." Send.
Cece: Great! Now you'll know, one way or the other.
Nick: [phone blips] She just wrote back. She already wrote back. I-I can't swipe because my thumb is a little sweaty. Will you swipe for me?
Cece: Yes, yes, yes, yes, okay, okay, okay.
Nick: Just read it. Just read it.
Cece: Okay, okay, okay. "Um, hey, Nick, you idiot. I know it's you texting me from these numbers."
Nick: I can't disagree. She gets me.

Schmidt: Can't believe I lost my job. [grunts] Here they come. Banana cramps.
Cece: Okay, bananas are supposed to stop cramps.
Schmidt: Mm-mm.
Cece: Babe, how many of those have you eaten?
Schmidt: This many.
Cece: Oh...!

Schmidt: What are we gonna do?
Cece: It's gonna be okay, all right? You don't need to work in that cat box, anyway. You deserve so much better.
Schmidt: Thank you.
Jess: [enters] Schmidt, I got your job back.
Cece: Oh, thank Jesus.

Jess: Why did you tell her that?
Schmidt: Well, because, look, I know how much this dress means to her and I... I do think that, together, we... Dear lord, I can't even look at this thing anymore. I keep forgetting how awful it is. Please, take it off of the form. At some point, we'll figure something out. I'd say let's burn it, but it looks completely inflammable.

Winston: [o.s.] In a word, breathability.
Schmidt: Real funny, man.
