Quote from Adrian Monk

Lieutenant Disher: Do you want my seat?
Adrian Monk: No, I'm okay.
Lieutenant Disher: Have a seat.
Adrian Monk: I'm okay, Randy, I'm not pregnant, I'm just dying.
Natalie: Please stop talking like that.
Adrian Monk: I'll stop talking soon enough.

Quote from Natalie

Natalie: Wait, what is this?
Lieutenant Disher: That's the suspect from the birthing center. We're still tracking him down.
Captain Stottlemeyer: Natalie, we've got more important things to worry about right now.
Natalie: No, I've seen him before. He was at the supermarket.
Dr. Malcolm Nash: When was this?
Natalie: Yesterday. He walked away with Monk's shopping cart.
Lieutenant Disher: Shopping cart?
Natalie: Yeah, he had it for ten, maybe twenty seconds.
Dr. Malcolm Nash: Well, that's long enough. I mean, he could have put something in the cart. Could have tampered with something. Do you still have the receipt?
Natalie: Yeah, I think so.
Dr. Malcolm Nash: Okay, listen. We're gonna start there. We'll test every single item that was on that list.
Natalie: Is there enough time?
Dr. Malcolm Nash: I don't know.

Quote from Captain Stottlemeyer

Captain Stottlemeyer: Thank you for coming. I have to tell you, right off the bat, that this is not an officially sanctioned task force. So nobody is gonna get paid any overtime.
First Detective: We're not here for the money, Captain.
Captain Stottlemeyer: I appreciate that. I'm sure Monk does too. All right, this is our target: Joey Kazarinsky.
Lieutenant Disher: A.k.a, Joey Kaz, or Joey K.
Captain Stottlemeyer: We think that Kazarinsky shot Dr. Nash last Friday and that he poisoned Adrian Monk.
Second Detective: What's the connection?
Captain Stottlemeyer: Monk was working the Nash case. Other than that, we don't know. Now, we're gonna split up into groups. Half of you are gonna work with Randy on the shooting. [Randy raises his hand] They know who you are, Randy. I want to know everything there is to know about Nash. Who he was, who loved him, more importantly, who didn't love him. The rest of us are gonna find Kazarisnky. We're gonna turn over every rock in North California. Now, this guy is dangerous, he is armed, he might be carrying chemical agents. Be careful, but, and this is very important, no guns. You get a lead, you phone it in. You keep your gun in your belt. He must be taken alive. If he dies, Monk dies. Understood? Good day. Let's go.

Quote from Lieutenant Disher

Captain Stottlemeyer: He's not gonna show.
Lieutenant Disher: [sighs] I'm gonna miss all this.
Captain Stottlemeyer: You going somewhere?
Lieutenant Disher: No, I mean eventually. Can't do this forever.

Quote from Captain Stottlemeyer

Captain Stottlemeyer: That's the 532 from San Jose?
Lieutenant Disher: Yeah, right on time.
Captain Stottlemeyer: Listen.
Lieutenant Disher: I don't hear anything.
Captain Stottlemeyer: Me neither. There was no announcement. Where's the announcer?
Lieutenant Disher: Control tower.
Captain Stottlemeyer: Go, go!

Quote from Lieutenant Disher

Lieutenant Disher: [over radio] Captain, the controller's dead. He's been shot. Twice in the back, one in the head. There's lots of blood.
Captain Stottlemeyer: Randy! Randy, the microphone is on!
Lieutenant Disher: God, look at all the blood.
Captain Stottlemeyer: Randy, the microphone's still on.
Lieutenant Disher: What?
Captain Stottlemeyer: The microphone is still on. I can still hear you.
Lieutenant Disher: Wait, wait, hang on.
Captain Stottlemeyer: I can still hear you, Randy!
Lieutenant Disher: No, no. I got it. Kazarinsky took his jacket and his ID. I think we should make an announcement and warn everybody. Otherwise, it might just be sitting ducks down there. Captain, he has a gun, he's killed once, he won't hesitate to do it again. [crowd screams]

Quote from Adrian Monk

Dr. Bell: The man who poisoned you, this Kazarinsky. Did he say anything before he died?
Adrian Monk: He was hit by a train. He probably said "train".

Quote from Adrian Monk

Adrian Monk: [at Trudy's grave] I love you.
Natalie: Is that it? You sure you don't wanna say something else?
Adrian Monk: No, I can tell her myself tomorrow.
