Veterinarian: Is she panting heavily and heaving?
Adrian Monk: Yes. Yes.
Veterinarian: Uh-huh. Has she been putting on weight?
Adrian Monk: Well, yes. Yes, she has.
Veterinarian: Well, it sounds like she's whelping.
Adrian Monk: I don't understand.
Veterinarian: Well, I think she's in labor.
Adrian Monk: I don't understand.
Veterinarian: She's in labor. She's having a litter, little puppies? Baby puppies.
Adrian Monk: You mean now?
Veterinarian: It sounds like it. Sir? Are you still there? Congratulations.
