Lily: Did he give you any problems?
Robin: He cried a little, but then he stopped.
Lily: Oh, good. Anything else happen?
Robin: Nope. That... is... it.
[four years later, Lily and Robin are chatting over wine:]
Robin: All gone!
Lily: We have to do this more often.
Robin: Oh, we totally do. I can't believe Marvin's in kindergarten.
Lily: He's growing up so fast.
Robin: Can I confess something to you? Remember the day you left Marvin's binky on the bus and you left me alone with him?
Lily: Yeah.
Robin: Well, I didn't tell you this at the time, but...
[flashback to Robin attempting to comfort Marvin by rocking the stroller:]
Robin: Okay, okay. Yeah, there, there, there. Okay, shh, shh.
Woman: Oh, no, it looks like somebody's not happy.
Robin: No kidding. I'm miserable. Listen to this thing.
Woman: He probably just wants to be held.
Robin: I think you're right. Can you do it?
Woman: All right. Come here, handsome.
[back:]
Robin: I let a stranger pick up Marvin. I'm sorry. It's just, I hadn't actually picked him up at that point, and I was scared, so...
Lily: You know what? It was four years ago. He's obviously fine. Don't even worry about it.
Robin: Really?
Lily: Yeah. Thank you. I mean, as long as there's not more to that story.
Robin: Nope. That... is... it.
