‘46 Minutes’

Lily and Marshall finally move into their house on Long Island, putting them a 46 minute train journey away from their friends. In their absence, Barney becomes the leader of the group and takes his friends to a strip club, on the 150th episode of How I Met Your Mother.

Robin: Hey, do you want to come to Long Island with us?
Kevin: Uh, well, still a few more hours before the sun comes up.
Both: So...
Kevin: No.
Robin: No?
Kevin: Is that bad?
Robin: No, it's great.
Kevin: Ooh, that felt so good. I hate doing things and going anywhere!
Robin: Oh, new experiences suck! [high-five] While we're at it, I hate high-fiving you!
Kevin: I know. We're adults who are sleeping together, not teens pledging a frat. [inner monologue] Oh, man, I really liked the high-five.
Quote from Ted
Future Ted: [v.o.] The next morning, Marshall and Lily woke up to a surprise.
Marshall: Hey, what are... What are you guys doing here?
Barney: Just wanted to make sure this key worked.
Robin: We missed you.
Lily: Give mama a hug.
All: Oh...
Ted: Don't check your voicemail. You might have a couple weird ones.
[flashback to Ted phoning them:]
Ted: You hear this?! This is the sound of me moving on. [laughs] Yeah, I'm a stripper.
Quote from Mickey
Mickey: Hey, honey, look, I'm sorry I was a jerk before. Okay? I'll leave right after breakfast. I'll crash with some friends.
Lily: Dad, you know what? You can stay.
Mickey: Oh, thank God. I got no friends. I'll be here two weeks, tops.
Future Ted: [v.o.] It wasn't two weeks.
