With a new year approaching, the group make their resolutions. Ross vows to try something new every day, which leads to an unfortunate incident with a pair of leather pants. Rachel vows to stop gossiping just as she learns some surprising news about her friends.

Ross: No, I got really hot in my pants, so I took them off. But they must have shrunk from the sweat or something. Or my legs expanded from the heat. I can't get them back on, Joey. I can't.

Joey: Hey, Pheebs.
Phoebe: Oh, I can't talk to you. I don't have a fancy ad in the Yellow Pages.

Ross: I'm gonna go kiss Ben good night. I can't believe he thinks I'm a cowboy. I would make a good cowboy.

Monica: Well, now that everything's wrapped up here, I'm going to go do my laundry.
Chandler: Yeah, me too. If this shirt is dirty. [sniffs] Yep.

Joey: Oh, oh, okay. Cut slits in the pants, right? Then put them back on, go out there and tell her you're the Incredible Hulk!
Ross: Chandler's not there, huh?
Joey: Well, that would have worked but all right, fine.
