‘The One Where Ross Meets Elizabeth's Dad’

Ross is nervous to meet Elizabeth's father, Paul, for the first time. After Ross ropes his friends in to try make him look good, Paul takes a shine to Rachel. Meanwhile, Joey insults the person who controls his robot co-star on MAC and C.H.E.E.S.E., and Phoebe starts writing a book about Chandler and Monica.

Ross: That's okay, Rach. We're not liking Ross right now.
Rachel: Ooh. Well, I got a lot of those, too.

Joey: It turns out you were right, C.H.E.E.S.E.
C.H.E.E.S.E.: That shipment never made it to Omaha?
Joey: You got it. And the rabbi's beard? One hundred percent horse hair. Nice catch, C.H.E.E.S.E.

Chandler: This is going in your book?
Phoebe: Yeah, it's about relationships. You know, the traps, the pitfalls, what not to do. Keep going. This stuff's great.
Monica: What? Excuse me.
Phoebe: And how none of it matters when the people really love each other. And how people will believe anything you tell them as long as it's a compliment.
