Quote from Ross

Ross: Burt. Lydia. Mel. This is Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: Hi.
Lydia: Aren't you in my popular culture class?
Ross: That's right, Lydia. Elizabeth here is a student. And we're dating. And you may frown upon that but, we're not gonna hide it anymore.
Mel: You are so fired.
Ross: What?
Burt: They're going to fire you. You can't date a student. It's against the rules.
Ross: Really? It's not just frowned upon?

Quote from Phoebe

Phoebe: Yeah, okay, I need to talk to you. I know they said the hair-straightener started the fire. But I think I'm partly at fault. You see, I didn't tell you, but I had recently refilled the tissues. And so, let's face it, that's just kindling. So I think it's fair that I stay at Joey's.

Quote from Phoebe

Phoebe: You have to switch with me. Monica is driving me crazy.
Joey: That's right. All the ladies want to stay at Joey's.
Rachel: No, no. Phoebe, come on. I don't want to switch. Please, come on. I can throw wet paper towels here.
Phoebe: No, but at Monica's, you can eat cookies over the sink.

Quote from Ross

Ross: Wow, it actually is in the handbook. I can't date you or have a hot plate in my office.

Quote from Ross

Ross: Let's also get a hot plate.

Quote from Joey

Chandler: So?
Joey: So..?
Chandler: It's Thursday. How was the audition?
Joey: It's- Monday, one day. Tuesday, two day. Wednesday, what day- [gasps] Oh!

Quote from Joey

Ross: Anyway, it wouldn't matter, okay? Because I'm a teacher. She's a student.
Chandler: Oh, is that against the rules?
Ross: No, but it is frowned upon. Besides, there's a big age difference.
Joey: Well, think about it like this. When you're 90-
Ross: I know, when I'm 90, she'll be like 80 and it won't seem like such a big difference.
Joey: No, that's not what I was gonna say at all. What I was going to say was when you're 90, you'll still have the memory of what it was like to be with a 20-year-old.

Quote from Joey

Chandler: So, you busy Thursday?
Joey: Oh, very funny. I don't know if you remember, but my audition was supposed to be Thursday. You got me the audition? Oh, let's hug it up.
Chandler: Okay. What are you going to do to me if you get the part?
