The events of their drunken night in Vegas slowly come back to Ross and Rachel. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Joey drive back to New York in her cab, and Monica and Chandler consider taking a step forward in their relationship.
Quote from Monica
Monica: That wasn't a hard eight. Last night I rolled a hard eight.
Chandler: That's right. It was the wrong kind of eight. No wedding. Damn it.
Monica: I wanted it so bad.
Quote from Phoebe
Phoebe: You promised me a fun road trip. We've been on the road for 6 hours, and you've been asleep for 5 1 /2. We are switching, and you are going to drive back. That will be your punishment, you greedy sleeper.
Quote from Phoebe
Phoebe: And until then, you are going to sing to me. Because the radio's broken, and you are selfish, but you have a nice voice.
Joey: Really?
Phoebe: Sing!
Joey: [singing] I wanna rock 'n ' roll all night-

Monica: That kid kicked me really hard on the plane.
Chandler: Well, you did pull his hair.
Monica: He took my snack.
Chandler: I'm not getting into this again.
Quote from Joey
Phoebe: How could you pick up a hitchhiker? He could be a rap- [Phoebe puts her hand up to block the hitchhiker's face] He could be a rapist or a killer or something.
Joey: Don't you think I asked him that before he got in?
Quote from Phoebe
Phoebe: And, you, are you a rapist?
Bill: No.
Phoebe: Do you like car games?
Bill: Yeah, you know the license plate game?
Phoebe: I love the license plate game.

Joey: Pheebs, look, I am so sorry. I know I promised you a fun road trip with your friend and I didn't deliver, okay? But now I know that you think being awake is an important part of friendship. So I will strive to stay awake for as long as I know you.
Phoebe: You can still, like, sleep at night and stuff.
Joey: Thank you.
