Robert: He said some mean things, then took off.

Robert: Oh, this is great. Should we get Dad?
Marie: Why ruin it?

Marie: Yeah. It was such a nice thing that you did to cover for your brother like that.
Ray: He told you it was his party?
Marie: Here's your cake, sweetie. The world makes sense again.
Ray: Is this for me?
Marie: Oh, you deserve 10 cakes.
Ray: Yeah, but, but...
Marie: You made up that whole story just to protect your brother?
Ray: [long pause] I didn't want to get him in trouble.
Marie: Here you go, dear.
Ray: Mmm! Nobody makes cake like you!
Marie: And nobody eats it like you.

Ray: You know, Robert's not that bad.
Marie: I know, and it was twenty years ago anyway. So let's save him a piece of cake.
Ray: Yeah, a big one. And you know what? He can have this whole cake too. [slides Debra's cake away]
Marie: Yeah. You know, I still need to give you your birth-minute kiss.
