Drew: You're not supposed to be eating candy, anyway. You just got a filling.
Tonya: I'm telling Mama!

Adult Chris: [v.o.] Some people had wine, my mom had Aunt Jemima.

Doc: Good game. You almost had him.
Jerome: You got a lot of heart, little dude.
Adult Chris: [v.o.] I wonder if I could sell my heart for five dollars.

Chris: Hey. I'm gonna pay you back. It'll take a couple of weeks, but I will.
Greg: You going to play him again?
Chris: No. I don't think so.
Greg: What about your rep?
Chris: I've got a new one: sucker.

Adult Chris: [v.o.] I missed being the Asteroids champ of Bed-Stuy. Without that, I was just another bum from the neighborhood.

Rochelle: How did you lose five dollars, boy?
Julius: Where did you get five dollars?
Chris: I bet a guy playing Asteroids, and and I got the five dollars from Greg.
Julius: What are you doing betting on video games?
Chris: I was trying to protect my reputation.
Drew: You have a reputation?
Chris: Yeah. I am the best player on the block.
Tonya: Then how come you didn't win?
Chris: Because you need to be quiet, that's why!
Tonya: Don't tell me to be... [they bicker]

Doc: What do you need today?
Adult Chris: [v.o.] My father played the lottery a thousand times and lost a thousand times. I had only lost my rep once, and I wasn't about to let that happen again.
Chris: Give me four quarters.
Doc: Now you're talking.
Jorge: Want to play me for some more money?
Chris: I don't have any money. [Jorge snickers] I just want to prove I can beat you.
