Chris is scared to show his report card to Rochelle when he gets an F in math. Meanwhile, Julius is off work with the gout, giving him a chance to catch up on his soap operas.

Julius: What happened?
Rochelle: The teacher just told me that Chris got an F.
Julius: But he said he got an A.
Rochelle: I can't believe that boy looked me dead in the eye and lied to me.
Julius: How you gonna handle this?
Adult Chris: [v.o.] Translation: Do you want to kill him, or should I?
Rochelle: Hmm. Oh, I know what to do.

Julius: My foot's looking better, don't you think?
Rochelle: Why are you talking about your foot? Your son has no conscience. In there eating pancakes like he actually got an A.
Julius: If you didn't want him to have the pancakes, what'd you give them to him for?
Rochelle: For him to feel guilty and confess. But that's okay. Tomorrow I got something for him.

Adult Chris: [v.o.] After I got caught, my parents finally had something to talk about.
Julius: What happened with Chris today?
Rochelle: Oh, I got it all handled. How's your foot?
Julius: It's all right.
Rochelle: Got a surprise for you. I watched your soap today.
Julius: Yeah?
Rochelle: Yeah, but if you don't feel like talking...
Julius: No, no, no, no. We can talk about it.
Rochelle: Oh. Did you know that Nicky was a stripper?
Julius: A stripper?
Rochelle: Mm-hmm.
Julius: Does Victor know?
Rochelle: He does now.
