Quote from Joey Caruso

Greg: [to Chris] So you're serious about this?

Chris: [to Greg] I'm serious. I got to get out of here.

Quote from Chris

Adult Chris: [v.o.] After a few days of being a full-time juvenile delinquent, I was out of ideas and still in school.
Chris: I give up. I'm never getting out of here.
Greg: Come on, man. It's not so bad. Give it some time. Things will change.
Joey Caruso: Hey, bacon bit, want to go to the arcade?
Chris: I can't take this anymore!
[When Chris throws a book at Caruso, he ducks in front of an open window. After the book flies out the window, tires screech and a crashing sound is heard. Chris looks out to see two teachers' cars have crashed.]
Adult Chris: [v.o.] Well, the good news is, I'm getting kicked out of Corleone. The bad news is, I'm going to jail!

Quote from Adult Chris

Adult Chris: [v.o.] I was feeling great. Meanwhile, on the street, my father was clearing folks out like a cop in a crack house.
Man: Something's dead!

Quote from Rochelle

Tonya: Mama, I don't like Daddy's new job. He stinks!
Rochelle: Yeah, but he's making a lot more money now.
Drew: So? He stinks. He didn't stink when he worked his other jobs.
Rochelle: Well, baby, with this job, he gets to spend more time with us.
Tonya: More stink time!
Rochelle: Oh, come on, Tonya! It's not that ba- Ooh! Y'all smell that?!
Drew & Tonya: Yeah.

Quote from Rochelle

Julius: What's this?
Rochelle: Clean clothes.
Julius: Where am I supposed to change?
Rochelle: I don't know. Why don't you ask them cats?

Quote from Greg

Chris: Greg!
Greg: Hey, man. What are you doing here?
Chris: My mom came to get my transcript. I'm going to Sanford.
Greg: So, you're really gonna go?
Chris: Yeah.
Greg: Man! Well, at least you won't have to worry about Caruso anymore.
Chris: Yeah. How are things going for you?
Greg: I don't know. Caruso doesn't bother me anymore. In fact, nobody bothers me. It's kind of lonely.
Adult Chris: [v.o.] He must be really lonely to miss an ass whuppin'.
Greg: Well, I got to go to class.

Quote from Chris

Adult Chris: [v.o.] Since it was almost official, the next day, I decided to walk by Lamont Sanford, to get a feel of what it was gonna be like to go to school in my neighborhood. Damn! They got bullies here, too!
Bully #1: What you looking at?
Chris: Nothing. You guys go to school here?
Bully #2: Yeah. I've been going here for 16 years. Now boy, I asked you a question. What you looking at?
Chris: Nothing.
Bully #1: So what you trying to say? We're nothing now? [they run after Chris]
Adult Chris: [v.o.] I just I couldn't help but think that if Greg was here, he could've taken half of this beating.

Quote from Chris

Greg: So, what made you decide to come back?
Chris: I thought Corleone was my problem, but then I noticed the real problem. I'm little, skinny and I can't fight. So no matter where I go, I'm still the same guy.
Greg: So, they jumped you.
Chris: Yeah. I figure the bully you know is better than the bully you don't.

Quote from Joey Caruso

Joey Caruso: Hey, Dolomite. Welcome back. It was rough without you. I had to go back to beating up White kids.
White Boy: [with a black eye] The next time you decide to quit, could you let somebody know?
Greg: So, what do we do now?
Chris: Same thing we always do.
Greg: Glad to have you back, man.
[Chris and Greg run from Caruso and his friends]
Adult Chris: [v.o.] That day I realized that no matter what school I went to, things were gonna be rough. But as long as I had Greg, things were gonna be all right.

Quote from Adult Chris

Greg: Back to clean out your locker?
Chris: Nope. Just back for good.
Greg: Cool! [pats Chris on the back]
Adult Chris: [v.o.] Hey, this ain't Brokeback.
Chris: Greg!
Greg: Sorry.
