‘Band on the Run’

Cory and Shawn pretend to be in a band to impress girls, but their lack of talent becomes a problem when they're booked to play the school dance.

Shawn: Musicians!

Cory: Oh, you're talking to me? Shouldn't you be at the hospital talking to one of your many blood-hawking grandmas?

Shawn: Okay, don't panic. We'll just play the old hits. None of the new stuff. Maybe one encore. We're in the limo and we're home.

Alan: What happened? I used to be good.
Amy: Alan, I say this with love and respect. You were never good.

Shawn: You know there was one moment there where I thought we really had them. They were screaming "Exits! Exits"
Cory: Shawn, they were looking for a way out.

Mr. Feeny: Check. Microphone 1. Test. Test.
Mr. Turner: George, keep talking, we need more.
Mr. Feeny: Stay in school. Get a good education. Don't slouch.
Mr. Turner: George. George, you are killing the mood.
Mr. Feeny: Good.

Shawn: You know that's so crazy it just may work.
Cory: What may work?
Shawn: The plan.
Cory: I didn't tell you what it was.
Shawn: That way they can't get it out of me.
