Dick realizes he has gained a lot of weight since he broke up with Mary, so he vows to go on a diet. Meanwhile, Tommy suspects August is cheating on him, and Sally nurtures a tomato plant.

Harry: Tommy! This time I've got good news.
Tommy: What is it?
Harry: August is cheating on you.
Tommy: Darrin Laskey.
Harry: Yeah.
Tommy: Harry, how is this good news?
Harry: Oh, well, look how happy he is.

Patty: Hi. A new face. Have you weighed in yet?
Dick: Uh, yes. That Fat-Loser over there helped me.
Patty: That's Lilly. She's been a Fat-Loser for over 9 years. Well, I see you have your water bottle and your menu planner. Here's a food scale.
Dick: Oh. It's official. I'm a Fat-Loser.
Patty: Congratulations.

August: Me do this to you? What kind of a boyfriend are you? You- You lust after our music teacher. You flirt with that sleazy Lorna.
Tommy: Ok, but in all fairness, they both totally blew me off.

Don: How are things going with... Jeremy?
Sally: Jeremy's dead!
Don: [smiles] That's terrible! I'm so sorry.

Dick: My pants fit! I won the war!
Harry: Oh, that's great, Dick. So you lost weight?
Dick: Even better. I bought bigger pants.
Harry: Good thinking, tiny.

Sally: Well, Dick, your salad's ready. I hope you like it.
Dick: Salad?
Sally: Little guys never knew what hit 'em.
Dick: Who wants salad? I want some real food!

Dick: Shh! Listen! [ice-cream truck music playing] Mr. Frosty Smooth! Mr. Frosty smooth! He's right on time!
